Volunteer IHC VOLUNTEER NOMINATION 2013 FORM
Again this year the Italian Heritage Center will be awarding our 2nd Annual IHC Volunteer of the Year award. Our members and the tireless volunteer hours they give is what drives our success as an organization. We are forever indebted to what you all do day in an day out. We THANK YOU ALL!!
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR PROGRAM
This program recognizes members for their IHC volunteer activities. The award selection is based on a member’s volunteer activities in the previous calendar year. Board members are not eligible for this award. For a member to be considered for this award another member will have to submit this nomination form. Nomination forms must be submitted by March 15th.
A selection committee comprised of the Vice President, Activities Director and a Board member selected by the President will select three finalists from the submitted nominees. The Vice President will chair the selection committee.
The names of all nominees, a photo and brief bio of each finalist will be in the April newsletter and in a flier handed out at the anniversary dinner/dance. The three finalists and their spouses will be given free tickets to the anniversary dinner/dance. Finalists must commit to attending the anniversary dinner/show before their selection is finalized.
The winner will be determined by member voting on the day of the anniversary dinner/show and will be announced at the dinner. Voting will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Each finalist will receive a plaque and the winner will have their name engraved on the “Volunteer of the Year” plaque that will hang in the IHC lobby.
