You can purchase a kit on their web site and then once you have done the swab, you can join our Italian-Heritage Community.

Founded in July of 2015, the Italian Heritage DNA project is for members of the Italian Heritage Center, in Portland, Maine USA. If you have Italian heritage in Maine, or if you connect with the Maine Italian community, we welcome you to join our project. We request all members submit a brief pedigree to our project administrator, with at least 3-5 generations.

If you've tested with Ancestry or 23andme(v3), and, you would like to become a project member, you can easily transfer your results to join us.
